Most Wanted

Law enforcement agencies within Box Elder County are asking the public to help them in apprehending ten wanted persons known to frequent the area.


JARRED WADE SMART, age 31, is 5' 9" tall and weighs 145 pounds.  He is Caucasian with brown eyes and black hair.  He is wanted for a Third Degree Felony charge of possession of a controlled substance.  A no-bail warrant has been issued for Smart by the Board of Pardons and Parole.  He is known to frequent the Box Elder/Brigham City area.

BRIAN LOUIS ABEL, age 30, is 5' 9" tall and weighs 160 pounds. He is Caucasian with green eyes and brown hair. Judge Hadfield has issued a no-bail warrant for Abel for failure to stop at the command of a police officer, a Class A Misdemeanor, and false information to a police officer, a Class C Misdemeanor. He is known to frequent the Brigham City/Box Elder area.
