Welcome to the Brigham City Police Department
The Brigham City Police Department is located on the main floor of City Hall, 20 North Main, Brigham City. The Department provides round-the-clock service to the citizens of Brigham City as well as assistance to other local law enforcement agencies.
The Brigham City Police Department is one of the most progressive and proactive departments in northern Utah. The Department consists of 25 sworn officers, one part-time Domestic Violence Investigator, two Animal Control Officers, one Animal Shelter Technician, two Records Clerks, one part-time Narcotics Strike Force Secretary, one part-time Crossing Guard, and one Administrative Secretary. The entire BCPD staff is professional, dedicated, and ready to serve the citizens of Brigham City.

Fingerprints:
Fingerprints are done on Wednesdays from 1:00 - 5:00 p.m.
Cost is $5.00 for residents; $10.00 for non-residents

Bicycle Licenses:
Bicycle licenses are available at the BCPD. Cost is $1.00/bicycle
Reports:
Copies of reports are available at a cost of $10.00/report

Beer Licenses:
The BCPD no longer tests for beer licenses. Testing is now done through the Bear River Health Department, 817 West 950 South, Brigham City.
Cost is $10.00.
Testing will be conducted on the first Tuesday of every month from 3:30 - 5:00 p.m.

Youth Court:
Youth Court is held every Monday at 5:30 p.m.

Dog Licenses:
Dog licenses can be purchased from the City Offices
Spayed/neutered animal = $10.00
Unaltered animal = $17.00
A late fee of $10.00 will be added to the cost of the license after March 1st
All dogs must have a current rabies vaccination

Drug Collection/Disposal Program:
Citizens can drop off unused/expired prescription and/or over-the-counter medications (no needles/sharps) in a collection box which is located just outside of the lobby of the BCPD

Sex & Kidnap Offender Registration:
Hours: Monday-Thursday, 8:00-11:00 a.m. and 2:00-4:00 p.m.
Offenders who are on probation or parole with Adult Probation & Parole (AP&P) MUST register with AP&P. Offenders who are "off paper" (i.e., no longer under supervision or whose conviction is from another jurisdiction), MUST register with the Police Department or Sheriff's Office that has jurisdiction over the area where the offender resides.
