City Council Members
Councilmember Bruce Christensen
Bruce Christensen is a Brigham City native and he, together with his wife Patsy, have raised their 7 children here. All of their children and their spouses including 26 grandchildren live in the immediate area. Bruce is a retired banker having worked 36 years for Box Elder County Bank and First Interstate Bank where he was a vice president and Northern Utah District Manager. He has served in many volunteer civic and community positions over the years.
He is currently serving on the Economic Development Board, Citizen Corp Council, VIPS/Neighborhood Council, Golf Course Commission, USU Advisory Board, Box Elder Interfaith Council, Brigham City Interagency Committee, Bridgerland ATC Foundation Board and a number of other City committees and task forces. He feels the most important challenge Brigham City has to face at this time is to properly manage the impending growth of our area. Also a priority is to provide the services that the citizens feel are important while balancing a conservative City budget.

Councilmember Scott Ericson
Scott Ericson was appointed to the Brigham City Council in April of 2007 and was subsequently elected to a 2 year term on the council. He is excited to continue working to maintain the rich heritage for which Brigham City is known. Scott is currently employed by Congressman Rob Bishop and is responsible for maintaining relationships between the Congressional office and cities and counties throughout northern Utah. He also works with federal agencies on behalf of constituents when problems arise. Scott has been heavily involved in Republican politics at both the state and local level. He is currently serving as the Box Elder County Republican Chairman.
Scott was raised in Salt Lake City, Utah and attended Snow College in Ephraim, Utah. While at Snow, he met and married Karen Wright. Following their marriage, the Ericsons returned to Salt Lake City as Scott completed two Bachelor's Degrees from the University of Utah in Political Science and Public Relations.
The Ericsons have 2 beautiful little girls and are excited to continue to raise their family in Brigham City.

Councilmember Reese Jensen
Reese is a life long resident of Brigham City. His family has been the beneficiaries of the labors of many over the years. Reese said, "I feel a sense of indebtedness to the community and consider it a privilege to be able to reciprocate by serving the citizens of my hometown. Brigham City has always been known for its beauty, cleanliness and wholesome environment, founded on enduring principles and values. I desire to help preserve those core values and perpetuate the heritage handed down from the founding fathers for the benefit of future generations."
Reese has served, or is currently serving, on the Planning Commission, the Brigham City/Perry City Joint Advisory Board, Mantua Reservoir Advisory Board, Airport Advisory Board, Economic Development Board and Chamber of Commerce Board plus several other city sponsored committees. He also serves on the Board of Directors for the Box Elder Community Food Pantry.
His priorities are prudent spending, economic development, managed growth and the preservation of Brigham City's heritage.
He has 42 years experience in management in the aerospace and defense industry, having retired from ATK Thiokol.
He is married to the former D'On Christensen from Willard. They have three children and 16 grandchildren.

Councilmember Ruth Jensen

Councilmember Ruth Jensen said, "Brigham is a beautiful city and growing rapidly, I want to help Brigham City move forward well balanced and appropriately.
Serving committees like Neighborhood Watch , VIPS, Foster care review program, and Foothill Elementary school board, and volunteering for Meals on Wheels, Boy Scouts of America, the Food Pantry and Hospice, has given me great opportunities to work with a diverse variety of people.
As a resident for over 15 years, I love Brigham City ! Our family is unique with his, hers and ours with a total of 7 boys, we have been accepted into this wonderful environment. Brigham residents support each other regardless of our individual faiths, race, and economic backgrounds.
It is my privilege and honor to serve such a great community, Thank you."

Councilmember Bob Marabella
Robert J. "Bob" Marabella was born in Corona, California and graduated from Corona Highschool in 1979. Bob attended several junior colleges in California and Texas.
Bob is currently employed as a realtor with All Pro Realty.
He has been married to his wife, Jodie, for 15 years and has 3 children - Amber, Ross, and Alyssa.
His hobbies include softball, running, basketball, coaching kids sports, working on cars, and spending time with family.
He considers his greatest accomplishments to be getting married and having kids, and, of course, running the Boston Marathon 1988 and 1996.
