Welcome to Brigham City's Administration Department

The Administration Department is located on the main floor of City Hall. In this department, citizens can pay their utility bills, sign up for utilities, or change their service. The department does the utility billing and collections for the City. Brigham City utilities include electricity, water, sewer, refuse collection and storm drain. Any questions regarding utilities should be directed to this department. Dog licenses are also purchased through this department. To reach this department by phone, call 435-734-6600.

You will be asked to create a personal account. Be sure to type in your utility account number exactly as it appears on your statement, including decimals. The Council's 2007-08 budget includes the following utility rate increases:

Utility Billing Contact Information

Utility Billing Utility Payments Brigham City utilities include electricity, water, sewer, refuse collection and storm drain.

Service. Brigham City Corporation requires a signature on a work order to establish, transfer or terminate service in Brigham City. You must come into City Offices at 20 North Main as we do not take this information over the telephone.

Utility Deposit. If you are renting an apartment or home, or if you have purchased a mobile home, there is a $100 security deposit required. If you are renting or leasing a commercial property in Brigham City the deposit is $500. This deposit is an up front charge and must be paid or service cannot be connected. No deposit is required when you purchase a home or commercial property. You will also be asked to furnish your social security number as well as picture ID. Dog Licenses

Dogs need to be licensedDogs
Dog licenses for 2008 need to be purchased by March 1, 2008. If your dog is spayed or neutered, a license is $10. If not, it is $17. Rabies vaccinations are now only required every three years. There is a $10 late fee for licenses purchased after March 1, 2008.
