Answer
·  Why did I get a shut off warning on my bill when I know that I have paid it?

Payments received after the due date will cause a shut off warning to be printed on your next month's bill. Also, if the payment was not for the full amount of the bill or the payment amount was transposed, a shut off warning will be printed.
